Associate


Like a goat in a herd does what the others do.  Others have done what you've done.
Associate your troubles.  We all know that we feel better when we know that someone else is going through the same thing we are or have gone through.  So associate!  








Problems in life are common.  Meaning that most humans experience the same things in life.  It can be very helpful, comforting and even soothing to relate the problem we may be experiencing to one that is similar to what someone else may be going through.  So observe, look around, look outside yourself, I'm sure you will find someone else that is going through a similar situation.  

Don't be fooled, your not alone.
Mental health is all about perception.  If we can understand the way we currently perceive a situation, we can choose to help ourselves to feel better about our current problem by choosing to believe that we are not alone in this and that someone else has also gone through this and better yet, has overcome this situation.

Others have gone through too.
As human beings we never really are alone.  We may have no family, friends or companions, but with the few billion population, we are never really alone.  And even if you have no one to talk to that cares about you, other people have been in the same situation as you in the past and will be in the same situation that you are in the future.  So don't let your situation frustrate you, simply realize your not the only one, your not alone, so just simply associate!
