Find Your Right!

When the world says you’re wrong, find your right!  The world was telling me I was nothing, nothing but wrong.  I was the wrong race, being a part of the minority race in Canada.  I was a part of the wrong culture, being a Canadian living in the Caribbean.  I was the wrong weight, I was obese.  I was the wrong shade of color, being born dark skinned.  I was in the wrong profession, working a customer service job, by choice.  I lived in the wrong place choosing to make my home on a small island, instead of England or America, as some suggest.  I used the wrong speech, speaking Standard English, instead of the common dialect.  I did everything wrong!
I had a series of "incognito rights"  that lead to me finding my purpose in life.

Was I frustrated?  Was I angry?  Was I stressed about it?  Somewhat, but I used that energy to discover my right.  It lead me to writing.  At first my writing was purely scholastic, for school purposes.  Then I realized I liked it and was good at it and that it could be therapeutic.  Writing was my right.  No one could tell me I was wrong when I wrote.  I could express how I felt, what was on my mind, what was going on in my life.

How do you find your right?  Ask yourself what do you like?  What do you enjoy?  Then ask yourself, what work needs to be done, what is important that needs to be addressed?  Then think to yourself how can I perform a work or a solution to something that needs to be addressed in a way that I can enjoy it?
Who would have known that taking my pills would have lead me to  my destiny.

Do the work!  Research.  Ask persons questions who may be doing what you would like to do.  If you do not have anyone you can ask, go online and ask google direct questions by entering your questions in the google search section.  Search on YouTube.  Try alternative search engines.
So the next time the world says you’re wrong, don’t get frustrated, get mad and use that energy to research and find your right.  Because once you find your right, not one can tell you you’re wrong!

No, I won't quit my day job.  I'm at work on my lunch, doing my side 'gig', writing.  I found my right.
